I am no longer accepting the things I cannot change. I am changing the things I cannot accept.” |
My professional path began at Haileselassie Ambaye Industrial PLC (HAI), where I worked in a rotational program supporting valuation, sales, procurement, and compliance during operational audits and asset acquisitions across Ethiopia’s construction and import/export business. Today, I oversee U.S. operations at Muda Coffee, managing financial strategy, commodity research, and inventory management while advancing my interest in quantitative research for commodities, including portfolio optimization, modeling commodity derivatives, and risk analysis for global trade. Looking ahead, I aim to expand this work into quantitative research, trading, and risk analytics, where I can deepen the link between data and real-world markets.
I hold a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and a Master of Science In Finance from Hult International Business School, where I graduated with honors, and I am set to complete a Master of Science in Business Analytics this April. Outside my professional setting, I have also worked with nonprofits such as Nayna Rotaract, where I organized fundraising campaigns, coordinated district-wide sales, and mobilized resources to support the construction of an orphanage school—experiences that strengthened my commitment to community impact and leadership beyond business. |
